Rockstar have announced that another slice of the Max Payne cake is currently in development.  While I’m not sure if I’d ever actually eat a Max Payne cake, (for fear of wanting to slit my wrists while crying in a corner afterwards), Max Payne 3 is set to be darker and edgier than ever.

“We’re starting a new chapter of Max’s life with this game,” said Rockstar founder Sam Houser. “This is Max as we’ve never seen him before, a few years older, more world-weary and cynical than ever. We experience the downward spiral of his life after the events of Max Payne 2 and witness his last chance for salvation.”

Max Payne 3 is set land on the 360 this winter, and I for one can’t wait!
