Having been lost for the past few days in a haze of Modern Warfare 2, I’ve finally emerged to bring you some of the best news stories from the past few days.

• Final Fantasy XIII has finally been given a launch date, 9th March 2010. You can help unlock an exclusive XBL FFXIII item using Twitter, here.
• The much anticipated NXE update will go live on 17th November, you can read my first impressions here.
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 sold an amazing 1.2 million copies in the UK on day of release, congratulations to Infinity Ward.
• According to Console Monster, The Bible is set to hit your Xbox 360 soon.  It’s expected to retail for 400 MS points.
• Project Natal has been named as one of TIME Magazine’s Inventions of the Year.  This marks the third major honour that Project Natal has received in the past month, not bad for something that isn’t even on shelves yet.
• A new version of the Xbox 360 wireless adaptor has been announced.  It supports the N protocol (as well as a, b, and g), sports dual antennas, and promises a greater wireless range.  It will be available this Christmas.
