People are always asking me what software I use, and where to get it.
I tend to use a lot of “Open Source” software and “freeware”, as alternatives to the stuff bundled with Windows and the expensive packages designed for professional companies.
It’s sometimes easier to find free stuff than it is to find cracks for the corporate stuff. And besides, legally free means the cops won’t bust your door down and take your PC away.
