Like the new features for the dashboard update, Halo Waypoint is a separate downloadable module, found on either the My Community or Games Marketplace tabs; and once installed can be activated from your Games Library. I recently applied, and was consequently accepted into the preview program for the upcoming update for the Xbox 360. As part of the initial wave of applicants, I’ve had the privilege of testing out the new features that encompass the bulk of the update. When it was announced that The 1Up Show would be no more, a little part of me died inside.

As one of the few podcasts I constantly recommended to fellow gamers, The 1UP Show disappeared into the ether like so many others.

I was exceptionally happy discover that the awesome minds behind the show, (Cesar Quintero, Matt Chandronait, Jay Frechette, Ryan O’Donnell, Jason Bertrand and Rob Bowen), had decided to group together to form Area 5 Media.  Read more
